QB LeFevour won’t throw until pro day

Following Sam Bradford and Jimmy Clausen who are not ready to throw at the scouting combine, Central Michigan quarterback Dan LeFevour also announced that he will not take part in the combine in Indianapolis, saying that he will wait until he puts on NFL jersey to be officially a pro football player.

“I will focus solely on throwing at pro day,” LeFevour said. “Just getting focused with that…only having one thing to do on Pro Day and being able to work with my receivers up at school that are coming out. Putting everything I have into that aspect of it.”

However, NFL teams will still have other methods to evaluate the quarterback. LeFevour competed last month at Senior Bowl and there are a lot of game tapes of his playing for teams to watch. Although his decision is same to the top two prospects at quarterback, LeFevour said the fact Bradford and Clausen will not throw is not actually the reason for he to make the decision.
