According to reports by the Indianapolis Star, Colts owner Jim Irsay confirmed that former assistant coaches Tom Moore and Howard Mudd will wear back Colts NFL jerseys as consultants by August.

“This was Jim Caldwell’s call ultimately,” Irsay said. “Bill (Polian, team president) and I are there to support the head coach, and we do. I asked Jim what he wanted, and he wanted to see these guys come back and be part of things. Everything is good.”

Respectively at the age ot 67 and 70, Moore and Mudd just filed their retirement documents in May, but it was then reported that the two would probably put on Colts NFL jerseys back. This is the first time Irsay confirmed the schedule of re-hiring the two retired coaches.
