Two-time Super Bowl winner and a former Super Bowl MVP, Seahawks WR Deion Branch should have been a hot choice among the league. But the fact is the veteran has missed 15 games because of knee, foot and leg injuries since 2006, and is not possible to fully recover soon. He became a risky fantasy option in 2009.
Despite the honor he has earned, Branch has never posted a 1,000-yard season in the NFL, and he has never scored more than five touchdowns in a season. He spent more time in the trainer's room more than on the football field.
“You will never be back to normal once you have this type of procedure done,” Branch said to The Associated Press. “I actually feel stronger, but it's not normal. Something has been done that removed (parts) of my knee. My biggest thing is to continue to strengthen it.”
Brach is still playing in practice on field in hope that he will be able to play as a playmaker.
