Jaguars RB Jones-Drew is likely to have a breakout season

To fantasy owners, Maurice Jones-Drew could be the player who'll exceed statistical expectations and have a breakout season. He started most of the games he played in his NFL career. And in the three years he is playing for the Jaguars, Jones-Drew got 38 total touchdowns in three seasons.

His yardage totals were not very amazing as there was a better Fred Taylor. With the veteran ahead of him on the depth chart, Jones-Drew has started a mere four games. He's also averaged just 177 carries per season in what was a shared backfield. But since Taylor is no longer in the same field with him, Jones-Drew's chance is coming.

The running back out of UCLA will very likely to surpass his career-high of 197 carries in 2009.
