Redskins select DE Jarmon in supplemental draft

The Redskins selected Kentucky DE Jeremy Jarmon in the only selection of the 2009 NFL Supplemental Draft with the 19th pick in the third round. By doing so, they lost their right of the third-round selection in the 2010 NFL Draft. And Jarmon lost the chance to wear dallas cowboys jersey.

Jarmon would have been suspended by NCAA for his senior season at Kentucky after he tested positive for a banned substance in May, so he entered the supplemental draft to look for a professional football team. The Redskins chose him, on consideration that Jarmon received honorable mention on the All-Southeastern Conference team last year, made the second team in 2007, and ranks third on Kentucky’s career list with 17.5 sacks.Write for Pay
