Broncos WR Marshall will likely be held out of Sunday exhibition

Leaving training camp on the first weekend with a hamstring injury, the Denver Broncos wide receiver Brandon Marshall returned to team just a week ago. However, it seemed he was still unwilling to play with the team—he did not appear in Broncos Thursday workout again.

The holdout began after the Broncos refused his desire for a new contract. Marhsall had asked to be traded and given a chance to put on other team's nfl jersey and missed a lot of practices. The excuse was that he had a hamstring problem. However, Coach Josh McDaniels refused to say whether Marshall’s absence was health-related during a post-practice news conference.

Even though Marshall participated fully in the team’s drill, he still hold himself out of some pre-practice warm-up drills open to the media Wednesday. He was hold out by McDaniels of the last Saturday’s exhibition at Seattle, and skipping Thursday workout may cause him to be held out of another preseason game—Sunday night’s exhibition against the Chicago Bears.
