Cowboys beat Eagles 24-0, winning NFC East

The Dallas Cowboys finally turned over from last season’s season-ending loss to the Philadelphia Eagles by beating the Eagles 24-0 in this season’s final game. The blowout victory also set the 11-5 Cowboys’ position in the playoffs.

Winning the NFC East, the Cowboys win the host of a rematch in the first round of the playoffs next weekend. Plus, Tony Romo, who threw a pair of early touchdown passes, along with the entire offense, set all sorts of single-season records, including having a winning record after Dec. 1 for the first time since 1996 and ending a nine-game losing streak in season finales. And if they continue to win, there will be a first playoff win since 1996.Freelance Writing

Despite opening December with two consecutive losses, the Cowboys soon started a new winning streak by sending the 13-0 New Orleans Saints their first loss of the season, shutting out the Washington Redskins 17-0 and without allowing the Eagles to score a single point in the season finale. So for all those who love Cowboys jerseys, they have enough reasons to believe that the Cowboys will be able to win the playoff this time.
