Rosenhaus is an agent famous for negotiating famous players’ contracts. The most famous of his clients is the Buffalo Bills wide receiver Terrell Owens, who caused a lot of controversies while playing for the Eagles in 2004 season and 2005 season.

Although Jackson has not even played two full seasons since putting on Eagles jersey, he has been considered to be one of the best receivers. So the Eagles have to be get ready for a long talk about the negotiation as Rosenhaus will definitely try his best to gain as much benefit as possible for his client, and that is perhaps the very reason why Jackson changes his agent as early as in the middle of the season.

The news has not been officially confirmed by the Seahawks yet, but veteran running back T.J. Duckett told reporters Tuesday night that he was already waived by the Seahawks to clear roster space. The news came from a message Rosenhaus posted on his Twitter page saying “It’s official! Congrats to Edgerrin James on signing a 1 year deal with the Seahawks.”

James, who formerly played for the Arizona Cardinals, is the 11th best running back in the NFL with 12,121 yards. He actually did not take part in practices with the Seahawks in Tuesday morning, but Rosenhaus was seen inside the Seahawks headquarters Tuesday afternoon.

As the 41st pick out of Connecticut, Butler has agreed on a four-year deal with the Patriots, according to Rosenhaus. So there will no guess whether he will go to wear bears jersey.

Butler’s deal continues a trend of teams being much more proactive in completing deals well before the start of training camp, with more second-round picks now joining the large group of thrird- through seventh-rounders already signed.

Darius Butler is the third one gettng signed after two first-round picks — quarterbacks Matt Stafford and Mark Sanchez — have signed to this point.
