Paralyzed Cowboys aide Rich Behm determined to walk again

Dallas Cowboys scouting assistant Rich Behm, who got paralyzed in the May collapse of the team’s indoor practice facility, is determined to walk again. Cowboys leaders hope that his determination will give positive influence on players.

In his first public comments since the May collapse of the team’s indoor practice facility, Behm says he is still trying to learn how to deal with life well in a wheelchair. He lost the use of his legs in the accident that injured two other Cowboys staff members. No players wearing minnesota vikings jersey were found there.

Behm spoke Sunday at a charity fundraiser for him, his wife and their three young children, saying that he is considering a lawsuit against the manufacturer of the facility.

33-year-old Behm returned to work weeks after the accident and said his focus is on getting back up to speed in his job. Cowboys coach Wade Phillips thought that Behm’s determination has inspired the Cowboys players in many aspects.
