Justice should be fair to NFL star players

If we think carefully on the Plaxico Burress situation and the Donte’ Stallworth case, we have to admit the justice did not show fairness as it should do. As you know, Stallworth pleaded guilty to DUI manslaughter. His negotiated penance is 30 days in jail, two years of house arrest and eight years of probation. Plaxicao would be looking at 3.5 years for shooting himself in the leg, even though in a public place. Whether you agree or disagree, a moral precedence of sorts has been established.

For fairness, I think there is a distinction that needs to be made, especially for the unfortunate loss of life in the Stallworth situation. Stallworth should spend more time in jail and Plax should do more than spending 3.5 years in jail. Even if these would cost them their NFL career, they deserv that. Fairness of justice should not be cost by anything.Write For Pay
