Mike Holmgren could be Browns new coach

Having the experience of being coach for the Green Bay Packers and Seattle Seahawks as well as GM of Seahawks, Mike Holmgren has been rumored to be the top choice of the Cleveland Browns owner Randy Lerner to replace George Kokinis.

But he 61-year-old Holmgren would prefer to be the Browns coach rather than moving into the front office. If so, it would cause the Browns current Coach Eric Mangini to worry about his job. However, it seemed that he Browns have decided to oust Kokinis of the GM job and even have planned to offer him a counseling job.

Along with Holmgren, the 68-year-old Ernie Accorsi and 61-year-old Ron Wolf are also on Lerner’s list. But Accorsi, who was Browns an New York Giants GM, has said that he would not like to come out of retirement unless the new job is to supervise all those who wear NFL jerseys.
